Yep, it was “Jimmer Time” tonight, especially in the 2nd half when Jimmer Fredette and team took over against Wyoming. Jimmer finished his final game at the Marriott Center with 38 points shooting 12 for 24. He is just 73 points shy of the Total Points record held by NBA legend Danny Ainge.

It was also memorable to see teammate Brandon Davies sitting on the bench with his team for the final regular season game. There is no word yet what will be his status for the future of BYU basketball.

School officials are in the process of reviewing Davies’ case and are yet to determine his status for rejoining the team next season. After BYU’s nasty 82-64 loss to New Mexico on Wednesday the team’s coach Dave Rose said Davies’ dismissal was a shock, “I think it was a surprise to everyone.” He hopes and believes the young man will return to the team next season.
